Details

The Main Street School of Cosmetology (MSSC), in Ishpeming, is fully accredited by the State of Michigan. High school students are eligible to enroll during Grades 11 & 12 and receive instruction by certified instructors and participate in work-based learning experiences.

The school’s mission is to encourage students to learn and grow though a quality cosmetology curriculum that prepares them for personal and professional success. The flexible schedule allows students to easily fit this program into their high school schedule.

This class is typically available to students in grades 11-12.

Students attend class made up of MSSC students and other Marquette and Alger County high school & homeschool students at MSSC in Ishpeming. Class schedule is flexible (2 - 3) hours per day.

Prerequisites: None (unless assigned by local district)

School Tuition is Required: The student and parent will be required to sign a financial contract with the MSSC for tuition and fees to complete the school’s full 1,500 hour program.
